History

I have always strived to put my heart into my work, and this paid off when I was chosen for an internship at Citibank through a long and grueling selection process. In order to be considered, we first had to submit a resume and a cover letter. We were then interviewed by two different Citibank employees and two faculty members. Hundreds of students applied from across Long Island, but only about 20 were chosen, and one of them was me.

The internship lasted most of the summer and was a phenomenal experience. I worked in the engineering department, where I learned everything there is to know about ATM machines, including how to diagnose and fix problems associated with them. In group exercises attended by all interns, we were taught about the use of proper etiquette in the business world. At the end of the summer, each of us presented our work in front of our fellow interns and about 50 Citibank employees.
