What's a Seawolf?

Stony Brook University was established in Oyster Bay in 1957 as the State University on Long Island. It is ranked in the top 100 public national universities according to U.S. News & World Report. The university enrolls approximately 24,500 students and The Princeton Review claims it as 'America's Best Value College'.

I am currently a junior at Stony Brook pursuing a computer science degree and am maintaining a GPA above a 3.0. While at Stony Brook I have learned to extend and edit operating systems, write in lower level concepts such as MIPS and have learned advanced algorithmic concepts. I have also participated in various events such as Unhackathon, a 12 hour programming competition, and am a member of the Computer Science club. Although my time is limited, I actively tutor my fellow Seawolves in introductory and advanced computer science courses. WHAT’S A SEAWOLF? I’M A SEAWOLF!
